Matkailutila Haapamäki is situated by the lake Näsijärvi surrounded by magnificent nature. The imposing traditional Ostrobothnian main building, Setälä, and several log houses and cottages can accommodate even large groups. Matkailutila Haapamäki is a great setting for outdoor recreation and cosy relaxation.
Accommodation: Rooms for 2-4 persons and cottages for 4-6 persons, luxury cottage for 15 persons, fully electrified outbuildings.
Farm animals: Lapphund Turre and three cats
Activities: Two nature trails, a comprehensive museum of local history and culture, versatile sports grounds and playing fields. Sausage-grilling and pancake baking at the barbeque cabins, lean-to and two Lapp huts. Swimming, fishing, rowing.
Excursions: Ähtärin eläinpuisto (60km), Helvetinjärvi national park (25 km)
Camp schools: Matkailutila Haapamäki is practised at arranging camp schools. We can offer theme days: forest day, agricultural day, heritage day and excursion day.
